Default SEO & accessibility foundations
A practical starting point for every small-business website. Clear search setup and accessible page foundations are included in your agreed build price.
Two service tiers, with foundations as the default
Tier 1 is selected by default. It applies to the public pages and reusable templates included in your website build, across all industries. It has no separate SEO or accessibility surcharge. Page construction, content generation, hosting and ongoing support keep their own allowances.
Tier 2 adds extended services. Choose local SEO, research and on-page optimisation, AEO and GEO content, or a documented accessibility assessment according to your goals. You can add search work, accessibility work, or both; selecting one does not purchase every extended service. Compare extended services and prices.
What default SEO includes
- Descriptive page titles and meta descriptions for the agreed public pages, based on your supplied business information.
- Clear URLs, a logical heading structure and useful internal links between the included pages.
- XML sitemap and robots.txt setup, with a review of indexing settings and canonical URLs for launch.
- Responsive page layouts, sensible image sizing and a launch review of loading behaviour.
- Search Console setup or connection and sitemap submission when you provide the necessary account and domain access.
These foundations help search engines access and understand your website. Indexing, ranking, traffic and leads depend on factors beyond the build and are not guaranteed.
What default accessibility includes
- Semantic page structure, meaningful headings, descriptive links and appropriate text alternatives for supplied images.
- Keyboard access and visible focus for the navigation, controls and standard forms included in the build.
- Form labels, instructions and understandable validation messages.
- Readable colour contrast and content that remains usable with zoom and responsive layouts.
- A practical launch review of the included templates and standard enquiry journey, addressing issues found within the agreed build scope.
This is a build standard with launch checks. It does not include a documented evaluation against every WCAG success criterion, an independent audit or a website-wide conformance claim. A representative template review cannot establish conformance for every page and interaction. The extended assessment has its own defined coverage and findings report.
What you supply and approve
You provide accurate business details, service descriptions, branding, images and any account access needed for setup. We use that information to prepare page metadata and image alternatives. Content generation is separately priced when requested. New content, third-party tools, embedded booking systems, documents and later changes can introduce additional accessibility and search work.
When to move to extended services
Choose extended work when you need location research, optimisation of priority service pages, evidence-backed answers for customers, more detailed business and content signals for AI search, structured data implementation, or a documented accessibility assessment. These are separately scoped additions rather than automatic charges as your website budget grows.
Keyword research, SEO copywriting, structured data implementation, dedicated AEO and GEO work, formal accessibility assessment, independent audits and recurring reporting are outside this default tier. An industry template preview does not demonstrate that these services have already been delivered to a provider website.

How we define the work
Our approach follows Google’s SEO Starter Guide and W3C’s preliminary accessibility checks. Those checks are a starting point; a conformance evaluation requires a defined method and scope.
